PhotoSecure and DNA Technologies Team Up to Combat Counterfeiting

March 20, 2002 - DNA Technologies Announces New European Sales Agent

(Paris, France) DNA Technologies, a division of CrossOff Incorporated (TSE:OFF), announced today that they have reached an agreement with AOS SARL of France to represent DNA Technologies as a sales agent in Europe. DNA Technologies announced this new distributor from a Brand Protection Conference in France, where both companies are participating.

Worldwide Counterfeiting is on the rise. The Counterfeiting Intelligence Bureau estimates that global counterfeiting was worth $385 billion in 2001. Recently, New York police seized more than $6 million worth of fake brand-name merchandise in what has been described as the largest counterfeiting scam in the city's history. In an effort to deter the sale of counterfeit luxury products, DNA Technologies has been working with brand and intellectual property owners concerned with the production of fraudulent merchandise.

AOS SARL has 30 years of expertise in the security business and is well known and respected in the industry. Their background is in electronic security systems and anti-shoplifting devices, and more recently in provisioning security and authentication technologies. With extensive contacts throughout Europe, the agreement will see AOS represent DNA Technologies' products in France, Belgium and Italy. Through existing sales offices in Paris, Brussels, and Milan, they will sell anti-counterfeiting and brand protection solutions to the fashion, wine and luxury goods industries of Europe.

Thomas A. Nicolette, President of DNA Technologies is in Paris for the Brand Protection Conference. "We believe that expanding our world-wide network of sales agents will efficiently deploy the DNA-based tracking solution to our target markets. We are confident that AOS will be an effective representative to help expand our business in the European market."

Brand protection managers, corporate copyright lawyers, and customs officials from European companies are all in attendance this week at the conference in Paris, hosted by the French Manufacturers Union. The participant list includes over 100 major luxury goods, pharmaceutical, automotive and cosmetics companies.
